She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Shelton and Georgia Lera Wiggington Shelton; her husband Johnnie Paul Odell; her son Johnnie Phillip Odell; and her brothers, Joseph and Dempsey Shelton.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sonia and Sammy Odell; and her great grandchild Taylor Moore.
