She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Thomas Williams and Vergie Adams Williams; her husband William Berger; and her brothers, Elmer Hairston, Joe Willie Hairston and Thomas Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Berger, Lynn Patterson and William Wayne Berger (Kevin Williams); and her siblings, Mazie Murphy, Bernice Motley, Jessie Mae Wooding, Gladys Clark and Jimmy Williams (Mironda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
