We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2021, at the age of 98, Helen Mae Hawkes (Martinsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Eldridge Hawkes; and her siblings, Harry, William, Charles Ramey, Virginia Ruth Ramey and Marjorie Charlton.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smith (Jerry), David Hawkes and Roberts A. Hawkes (Debbie); her granddaughters, Jennifer Jackson (Thomas) and Laura Lamb (William); and her great grandchildren, Tommy, Robert Jackson, Natalie, Caroline Lambert and Will Lamb.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
