She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Meredith and Jenny Holley Lawrence; her husband Donald Dean Johnston; her children, Dean Johnston (Mary Lewis) of Martinsville, VA, Donna J. Flora of Rocky Mount, VA and Jay Johnston (Stephanie) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Ainsley Johnston, Jack Johnston (Caroline), Meredith Flora, Katherine Flora, Samantha Johnston and Madison Johnston; and her brother Billy Lawrence (Shirley). She was also cherished by nephews, nieces and cousins.
