She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Barber and Myrtle Vaughan Sigmon Barber; her husband Charles Howard Cole, Sr.; her son Charles H. Cole, Jr.; and her siblings, Doris Jean Barber, Bonnie B. East, Johnny, Jerry and Curtis Barber.
She is survived by: her sons, Cecil Daniel "Danny" Cole and Robert Wayne Cole; and her siblings, Faye B. Woods, Allen Barber and Ronnie Barber. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
