She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gilbert Burgess and Malinda Burgess; and her brother James. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing will be held at 4-6p.m. Monday, January 21 at Coston Funeral Home, 427 Lincoln Avenue, East Liberty, PA In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to Sixth Mt Zion Baptist Church, 6556 Shetland St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.

“I will truly miss you Mrs. Gracie. My heart is broken into a million tiny pieces that I am just now finding out about your receiving your angel wings and going on to glory. I am so upset that I was not able to share more precious moments with you and be present during your going home ceremony. You will forever remain in my heart and I will always cherish the fun times we had singing gospel and laughing about the good old days. Rest in peace.
