She is survived by: her husband David Newman Floyd of Martinsville; her children, Stephanie Lynn Brooks (Chad Brooks) of Willow Spring, NC and Bryan Rakes of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Alexandria Rakes, Brandon Rakes, Blake Cassidy and Shelby Rae Brooks; her great grandchild Nola Fleming; her brother Bernard Mabe of Winston Salem, NC; and her aunt Cassie Martin of Martinsville. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
