She is survived by: her husband Melvin Carter, Sr.; her children, Cynthia Preston of Martinsville, VA, Kimberly Hairston (Larry) of Greensboro, NC and Melvin Carter, Jr. (Angie); her brother Kermit A. Draper of Alabama; her grandchildren, Byron Preston (Trakita) of Collinsville, VA, Brandon Carter of Martinsville, VA, Kristopher Hairston of Greensboro, NC, DeShanta Hairston of Martinsville, VA and Kendra Hairston of Charlotte, NC; and her caregiver Brenda Hairston.
In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
