He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert M. Horne, Sr. and Antoinette M. Horne; his wife Margaret Fontaine Horne; and his sister Anita Harris. He is survived by: his children, Kathy R. H. Frazier (Herman) of Kernersville, NC and Kenneth R. Horne (Tonia) of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Brian Horne, Alyssa Horne, Ashley Horne, Justin Frazier and Karmen Frazier.
