He is survived by: his children, Gerald Glen Cooper (Cathy Dunham) and Donna Jean Cassell; his grandchildren, Cora Mae Lusk (Ronnie), Shane Cassell and Sierra Martin (Jeffery); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Serenity, Grayson, Elie and Abel; and his sisters, Frances Alley and Sylvia Hodges.
