With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Bunch Adams Jr. (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on June 3, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Adams, MD and Virginia Surtees Adams; his wife Jean S. Adams; and his brother James S. Adams. He is survived by: his children, George B. Adams III (Leah Jamieson), Carol J and Sarah Hammack (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Caitlin Adams, Stephen Hammack and Brian Hammack (Brooke).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Museum of Natural History Foundation, 21 Starling Ave, Martinsville, VA 24112 or to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 725 Beechnut Lane, Martinsville, VA 24112 (where he was a member and former Deacon, Elder and Trustee).
