Faye M. Parker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 81, Faye M. Parker (Martinsville, Virginia) passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ed Foster and Annie Dell Dodson; her husband James L. "Bubba" Parker; her brothers, John E. Foster (Sammy) and Lonnell Dodson; her great grandchildren, Khyrra Martin and Khleo Toney; and her great great grandchildren, Kerry Scales III and Pilis Scales.
She is survived by: her children, Senovia O'Neil of Bassett, VA, Jaulondia Lolita Hodge (Carl) of Axton, VA, Connie Hairston (Quince) of Martinsville, VA, Tammy R. Martin of Richmond, VA and Terrill Parker; her siblings, Claudine Taylor of Smyrna, DE, Romain Thompson (Bishop Lum) of Newark, DE and Robert Dodson of South Plainfield, NJ; and her close friend Curtis Hairston (Muss). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carver Assembly Building (980 Carver Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112).
