He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Jefferson Steagall, Sr. and Madeline Elizabeth Steagall Garrett; his daughter Stacey Dawn Steagall; and his brothers, Ralph Milton Steagall and James Bill Steagall (Barbara).
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Randall Steagall, Sr. of Greensboro, NC and Barry Stephen Steagall of Long Island, NY.
