She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Lee Williams and Verdie Mae Crawford Williams; her daughters, Jo Ann Lawson Shelton and Barbara Sue Lawson; and her son-in-law Rev. Mike Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda L. Souther of Ridgeway and Becky L. Patterson (Bryan) of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Jamie Shelton (Shannon), LeAnn West (Chris) and James "Jay" Souther (Melinda); her great grandchildren, Ella, Miller West, Cade and Maverick Souther; and her caregiver Jennifer Wade.
