It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy W Turner (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Henry, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper DeShazo Turner (J. D.); her son Larry Milton Turner; and her siblings, Gertrude Alexander and Randolph Williams. She is survived by: her parents, Johnny W. Williams and Lilly Florence Stultz Wlliams; her son Glenwood R. Turner; her daughters-in-law, Janice Mason Turner and Carolyn Davis Turner; her grandchildren, Randy Turner (Debbie), Pam Freedman (Glenn), Lara Pendleton (Rusty) and Jason Turner (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Emily Turner, Lindsey, Justin Freedman, Jarrod Casper, Davis, Will Turner and Sydney Grace Pendleton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 1000 Snow Creek Road, Martinsville, VA 24112.
