She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lipford; her son Dantonio Penn (Amber) of Martinsville, VA; her grandchildren, Nytera, Brendon, Daniya and Demarcus Penn; her siblings, Della Carter (Ricky) of Axton, VA, Vivian Penn of Ridgeway, VA, Marshall Leon Claybrooks of Ridgeway, VA, Tony Penn (Cathy) of Ridgeway, VA, George Penn (Roberta) of Patrick Springs, VA and Reed Penn (Stella) of Martinsville, VA; her sister-in-law Dora Carter; and her close friend Greta Lipford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 570 Mountain Valley Rd, Axton, VA 24054. Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
