She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Kendrick; her children, James Kendrick, Jesse Kendrick and Betty Kendrick; and her brothers, Henry Smith and Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Wayne Kendrick, Timothy Kendrick of Martinsville, Joseph Allen Kendrick of Hickory, NC and Kathy K. Higgs of Newton, NC; and also, Brenda Hall of Penhook, VA and Sylvia Chaney of Ridgeway. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great, grandchildren.
