He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Walker and Ethel Vaughan Walker; his son Alex B. Walker; and his sister Edith Slaughter Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; and his daughters, Charlene Bowling (Fred) of Martinsville and Donna Carter (Robert) of Halifax. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
