He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jackson Peay and Mary Lorena Burris Peay; and his sister Theresa Gilley. He is survived by: his wife Michele "Shelly"; his sons, Darrell Peay (Tiffany), Cliff Peay, Michael Peay (Stephanie) and David Peay (Kim); and his sister Aileen Patton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
