She is survived by: her children, Jesse Maurice DeShazo (Natalie) of Chesapeake, VA and Tiwianna Arlene Hairston (Kenny) of Martinsville, VA.; her grandchildren, Darius Lane, Fadre Dillard, Kendra Hairston, Levi DeShazo and Stella DeShazo; and her siblings, Christine Manns, Dorothy Stanley, Betty Mattox, Linda Pace (Roger), Diana Johnson, Chester Gilbert (Betty) of Texas, Isreal Gilbert (Gerado Gilbert) and Donnell Gilbert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
