She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ida, Huline Penn, Bessie Hairston and Ned Hairston. She is survived by: her parents, Kathryn "Libby" Hagwood and Larry Hagwood; her siblings, Shena Hagwood, Jasmond Hairston, Larry Hagwood Jr. and Raymond Brown; and her close friend Lazarus Woodard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (430 Chestnut Knob Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
