She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Everett Jackson Hodge and Tanie Birta Millner Hodge; her husband John William "Pete" Hairston; and her brothers, Everett E. "Jimmy" Hodge and Stafford L. Hodge.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael W. Hairston (Kimberlee) of Tulsa, OK and David C. Hairston (Terry) of Elizabethtown, KY; her sister Charity L. Stone of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Joshua B. Hairston (Hannah), Marine (Christopher M. Hairston) and Nathan W. Hairston of Tulsa, OK; and her great grandchild Luke G. Hairston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12 p. m. at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, with only immediate family members present due to health and COVID-19 reasons.
