She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Cunningham and Callie Wade Cunningham; her daughters, Crystal Cunningham and Rhonda Cunningham; and her sister Edith Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Cabiness, Alice Hairston, Alonzo Hairston, James Hairston and Dewayne Cunningham; and her brothers, Wilfred and Dewey Cunningham. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
