He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyd Foster and Manervia Brim Spencer; and his siblings, Lula Warren, Addie Burgess, Nancy Kellam, John Spencer, Noble Spencer and William Spencer.
He is survived by: his daughter Oshanya Spencer; and his siblings, Willie Mae Penn (Hozer), Mary L. Mitchell (Thomas) and Jerry Brim. He is also survived by two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
