He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Herbert Lawson; his children, Amber (Jason Griffith), Amy Foley of Patrick Springs, Alysia Lawson of Fieldale and John; his daughter-in-law Beth Lawson of Patrick Springs; his mother Iris Williams Lawson of Stuart; and his brother Calvin Lawson of Stuart. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
