It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Ray Johns (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Freeman Harrison and Stella Johns Harrison of Virginia; and her brothers, Melvin Harrison and Curtis Harrison. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca "Peaches" Johns of Martinsville, VA, Quarantina Johns of Martinsville, VA and James W. Johns of Martinsville, VA; and her siblings, Patricia Carolyn Finney of Martinsville, VA, Ellis F. Harrison of Martinsville, VA, Timothy L. Harrison (Wanda) of Martinsville, VA and Walter Chester Harrison (Tonya) of Axton, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
