She was predeceased by: her husband James Curtis Whitlow. She is survived by: her son John Whitlow (Jaime); her grandchildren, Mason, Eli Whitlow and Caroline Whitlow; and her siblings, Thomas Powell Jr., Louis Powell, Ruth McLain, Glenda Taylor and Sharon Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
