She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Barrow and Agnes Dillon Kallam Barrow; her daughter Kelly Lyle Young; and her sister Elsie Joyce. She is survived by: her husband Posey G. Young, Sr.; her sons, B. Michael Young and Posey G. Young, Jr.; and her sister Peggy Purcell. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
