He is survived by: his wife Patricia Marie Lakey Hampton; his children, Susan Sessoms (James), Bart Hampton (Susan) and Scott Hampton (Tammy); his grandchildren, Brittany Wingate (Dustin), Taylor Hampton, Jessica Cumbo (Jay) and Lexis Hampton; and his great grandchildren, Dallas Kate Wingate and Layne Riley Cumbo.
