She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walker and Dorothy Dodson Walker; and her brother Bobby Walker. She is survived by: her son Anthony Thurston; her daughter-in-law Tenisha Thurston of Martinsville, Virginia; her grandsons, Elijah Thurston and Ethan Thurston; and her brother Rod Dodson.
