She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hanby and Sallie Hanby of Patrick County, Virginia.; her husband Raymond D. Ferrell, Sr.; her sisters, Edith Via, Emma Williams, Frances Carter, Jessie Key and Mary Lou Holder; and her great grandchild Stephen Crow.
She is survived by: her children, Anne F. Draper (Steve), R. Duke Ferrell, Jr. (Liz) and W. Stuart Ferrell (Terry); her grandchildren, Katherine Crow (Robert), Sarah Tellier (Aaron), Elizabeth Harris (Haze), Carter Ferrell, Caroline Branchal (Dan), Will Ferrell (Jennifer) and Lee Brown (Boyd); and her great grandchildren, George Harris, Liza Harris, Luke Branchal, Claire Branchal, Emma Branchal and Benjamin Tellier.
