She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Claybrook Lester and Natalie Penn Lester; her husband Lynwood Daves Wells Sr.; her brother Henry Claybrook Lester Jr.; her son Charles Thomas Fleenor, III; and her stepsons, John Emory Wells and Peter R. Wells (Pete).
She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie Coleman (Nick) and Susan Fleenor; her stepson Lynwood Daves Wells Jr.; her grandchildren, Sarah Coleman (John Freeman), Anna Screeney (Michael) and Ryan Coleman; and her friend Marian Young Preston. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
