It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Penn (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on September 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Penn and Martha Penn; and his siblings, Daniel (Sunny), Frederick (Fred), James (Mike), Addie, Hilda and Marion (Princess).
He is survived by: his pet Tula; his wife Carolyn Penn; his daughter Alverna Taylor; and his siblings, William Penn of Fieldale, VA, Thomas Penn of Martinsville, VA and Janis Gravely of Martinsville, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, a face covering, and social distancing are required.
The family asks that if you wish to donate food/water to please give or donate to your local food charities, banks or pantries.
