It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Hairston (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Ridgeway, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Bob Hairston and Eliza Joyce Hairston; and her son Anthony Hairston. She is survived by: her son Sherman Hairston of Burke, VA; her grandchildren, Aubrey Hairston (Andrea), Meghan Hairston, Angela Hairston and LaRone Hairston; and her sister Lena Mae Hairston of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
