It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Lawson of Martinsville, Virginia, born in Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Lawson and Lurinda Rakes Lawson; and his siblings, Catherine Spillman, Bessie Armstrong, Cecil Lawson and J. B. Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Clifton Lawson; his children, Shelly Dawn Lawson Arden (Pete), Charles Leon Lawson (Lynn) and Roger Dale Lawson (Joan); his siblings, Susie Crowe, Harold Dean Lawson, Tom Lawson, Fred Lawson, Billy Lawson and Bobby Lawson; his grandchildren, Tiffany Case and Bradley Lawson; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Shaw, Cooper Lawson and Conner Lawson.
