He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mae Grant. He is survived by: his son Joe Grant of Charlottesville, VA; and his sisters, Leona Lane of Delaplane, VA and Gloria Jean Diggs of Sterling, VA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
