Penelope Babcock Laingen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2021, at the age of 89, Penelope Babcock Laingen (Marshall, Virginia), born in Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Penelope Babcock Laingen to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bruce Laingen; her sister Peggy Davis; her sons, William, Charles and James; her daughters-in-law, Mary Kay, Laura and Hope; her brother James; and her parents, Frederick Babcock and Margaret Babcock. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her artwork hangs prominently in her family's homes, was auctioned for charity in Malta, and a scene of Afghanistan was selected for the cover of the Foreign Service Journal.
