He is survived by: his wife Ebonee; his granddaughter Charlie Adelia; his parents, Otis Sanders and Emma Sanders; his children, Dominique Eddington, Autumn Sanders and Aysha Davis; his granddaughter Charlie Terrell; his siblings, Melvin Sanders-Hicks, Tracey Sanders, Otis Sanders Jr., Morris Sanders, Marvin Sanders, Marcus Sanders and Meredith Sanders; his mothers-in-law, Karen and Sharon Davis; his grandfather-in-law Ramona Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Carin Elliott (Brent), Angela White-Davis (Phil), Andrea Hoover (Eric), DeWayne Butler, Thomas Brown (Lori) and LaWaughn Brown. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Maurice's contribution to the sporting community extended beyond individual coaching to influencing teams across various roles, from Wakefield School to Fauquier High School and several AAU teams.
