He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie Ritter and Pearl Armel Ritter; his wife Carrie Cooley Ritter; his son Marshall R. Ritter, Jr.; his sister Katherine Settle; and his children, James D. Ritter, Marvin L. Ritter and Karen Compher.
