She was predeceased by: her parents, William Randolph and Lucy Newlond Cooksey. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Smith (Terrence), Joan Stephenson (Richard), Lynn, Mary Frances, James (Susan), Regina Hilleary and Suzanne Ashby (Paul); her siblings, Christina Buch, Bill Cooksey and Helen Baldino; and her cousin Walter Monroe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (3304 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201). A burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery (3411 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201).
