She was predeceased by: her parents, Channie Pearson and Mattie Agnes Pearson; her siblings, Patricia Edna Brooks and Carroll "Buddy" Pearson; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Michele Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Emily DaWan Morgan (Kevin Morgan), Dana Rae McArthur (Art McArthur) and Kenneth Wayne Simpson (Courtney Simpson); her husband Clyde Raymond Simpson, Sr.; her children, Clyde Raymond Simpson, Jr. (Rhonda Good) and Sharon Renee Marlow; and her brother Timothy Pearson. She is also survived by grandchildren and seven (7) great grandchildren.
