He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde T. Wilson and Elva Thorpe Wilson; his wife Helen Carder Wilson; and his brothers, Herrell T. Wilson, Norris Wilson, Wesley Wilson and Aubrey Wilson.
He is survived by: his sister Clydie Klopp of Marshall, VA; and his half-siblings, Thomas Payne, Norma Jean Francis of Marshall, VA and Joyce Corbett of Marshall, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
