He is survived by: his wife Ellen I. Thompson of Marshall, VA; his children, Laurie Green (Bryant) of Delaplane, VA, Daniel Thompson, III of Glenn Burnie, MD and David H. Thompson (Ylonka) of Haymarket, VA; and his siblings, Joyce Pelham of Alexandria, VA, Jacqueline Roberts of Fairfax, VA, Shirley Thompson of Fairfax, VA and Dwight Thompson (Earline) of King George, VA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
