He is survived by: his close friend Helen Roberts; his sisters, Gertie Edwards (Samuel) of Midland and Charlene Caison of Front Royal, Virginia; his son Mack Matthew Tolbert; his grandchildren, Brenna Tolbert, Khloe Tolbert, Lennox Tolbert, Mack Jr. Tolbert and Octavious Tolbert (Micah); his children, Kieren, Kareem, Brandon (Luv), George (Tre) and Savannah; and his aunt Helen Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
