It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Clarkson Green of Markham, Virginia, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander G. Green and Lizzie Stribling Green of Markham; his brothers, James R. Green and Alexander G. Green Jr.; his wife Harriette Wagner Green; his daughters, Margaret G. Morris and Grace G. "Jaque" Bradford of Markham; and his stepson Charles G. "Teddy" Nicholson (Mari Helen).

He is survived by: his girlfriend Margaret Sanders of Markham; his friend Ricky Jenkins of Clear Brook; his children, Henry "Hank" Green Jr. (Cheryll) of Maurertown, John Miller Green of White Post, Elizabeth G. Mathias (W. Va) of Moorefield and William S. "Bill" Green (Sharon) of Markham; his grandchildren, Ann B. Vaughan (Graham) of Glen Allen, Brian Green (Georgi) of Markham, Burke Green (Beth) of Boulder, Colorado, Michael Mathias (Brooke) of Richmond, Dr. Megan M. Wagner (Neil) of Markham, Amanda Lewis of Manassas, Corinne M. Adamo (Ernesto) of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Diana Green of Harrisonburg and Grace M. Green (Maya Neste) of Front Royal; his great grandchildren, Walker, Mackenzie Vaughan of Glen Allen and Jackson Kitch of Manassas; his nieces, Mary Blake Green of Markham and Courtenay Marshall Green Mullen (Walter) of Markham; his nephew Alexander Gibson Green, III (Rebekah) of Leesburg; and his stepchildren, Mary Nicholson, Barry Nicholson (Kim), Michael Nicholson, Ian Nicholson and Cathleen N. McIntyre (Owen).
