She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hobert McMahan and Minnie Mae McMahan (Hill); her husband Harold Porter Epperson; her daughter Marsha Diane; and her siblings, Edward, Robert, Raymond, Buford, Ralph, Hazel, Betty Jo and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Lynn Epperson (Teresa "Terie" Carrick) of Port St and Philip Porter Epperson of Winston-Salem, NC; her granddaughter Susan Lynn Epperson of Martinsville, VA; her great grandchildren, Taylor Wells (Caleb) of Kernersville, NC, Carter Wheeler (Emmie) of Martinsville, VA and Sidney Wheeler of Martinsville, VA.; her siblings, Kenny McMahan and Juanita Rouse of Chilhowie, VA; her sister-in-law Ruth Hart Epperson of Glennville, GA; and also, Johnny and Melissa Jones of Marion, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
