With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda L. Hess (Marion, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lampkins and Georgia Lampkins; and her siblings, Robert Lampkins (Angela), Teresa Cannon and Rosa Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Leslie Hess, Sr. of Sugar Grove; her children, Stacy Hess of Colorado, Jeff Powers of Sugar Grove, Steve Powers of Abingdon, Scott Hess of Atkins, Eddie Hess (Leigh) of Atkins and Lee Hess of Atkins; her brother Dave Lampkins (Candy) of Chilhowie; her granddaughters, Justine Powers and Emily Powers; and her close friend Barbara Dickenson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Rose Lawn Cemetery (4410 Lee Hwy, Marion, VA 24354). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354).
