She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Jackson Dean, Sr. and Virginia Estes Dean. She is survived by: her husband Billy Joe Combs; her siblings, Gloria Piercy, Wanda Reedy, Maurice Dean, Herbert Dean Jr. and Charles Dean; and her friends, Amy Bode and Morgan Jean-Baptiste. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Cemetery (4410 Lee Hwy, Marion, VA 24354).
