He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shelton and Martha Shelton; his sister Jane; and his brother-in-law Jack. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jean Shelton (Lowe); his siblings, Bill (Betty) and Linda (Bill); his son Tom, Jr. (Karen); his grandchildren, Kasey (Aaron), Ben (Nela) and Isaac (Amber); his son Richard (Phyllis); and his grandchildren, Linda, Justin (Angela), Samantha (Dustin) and Scott (Michaela). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren (with #10 on the way), 5 nephews, and 3 nieces.
