It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tamera DeBord of Marion, Virginia, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on May 2, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. DeBord and Maidie Allison DeBord; her grandparents, Thomas, Mae Call DeBord, Ernest and Alice Brannon Allison; and her brother Thomas "Teddy" DeBord, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Jeremy Shelton (Brittney Fuller) of Marion; her sisters, Pam Blevins (Randall) of Marion and Peggy Smith (Jeff) of Richmond; her nieces, Brittany DeBord (Justin Smith) of Raleigh, NC and Allie Smith (Seth Wiltshire) of Richmond; her nephew Tommy DeBord (Samantha) of Wytheville; her aunts, Sue Lawrence and Teresa DeBord; her nieces and nephews, Huntington, Beckett, Layker and Allison; her close friend Rachel Shelton; and also, Olivia Johnson and Dumplin.
